Due to longest holiday of Nepali festival Dashain, which collided with the October 07 this year GEFONT organized a Interaction cum report unveiling programme re Nepali domestic worker on Sept 30 marking this years WDDW in Kathmandu.

A short film featuring how Nepali domestic worker struggling for decent life for them was screened and a research report entitle- Isolated within walls (http://gefont.org/uploads/publicati...)was launched.

GEFONT president Cde Bishnu Rimal was chief Guest who launch the research report. Reps from ILO Nepal, National Planning Commission of Govt of Nepal and NGOS & Civil society active in empowering Domestic worker were present there. The participants also lauded to ratify New ILO Convention No. 189
