Which pre-conditions need to be set for a common labour market in the region? Which chances for growth does a common labour market provide? How can the merging of the region create new jobs? Which role do „green jobs“ play in the region?
These are some of the questions that we want to discuss at the conference “The Baltic Sea Region – Growth, Employment and Identity around the Sea“ taking place in Gdansk on the 7th of October 2011, initiated by the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in Poland.
Amongst others Paweł Bogdan Adamowicz (Mayor of the City of Gdańsk), Adam Jasser (Undersecretary to the Primary Minister of the Republic of Poland) and Longin Komolowski (former Minister of Labour of the Republic of Poland) will participate in the conference.
Panel I: Common working area Baltic Sea Region – Common growth
