1. Launch of program on October 7th / World Day of Decent Work Public Annuncement through posters

This is to raise the awareness among the FEZ Workers about the world day of decent work and how important The Living Wage and social dialogue in Tripartite mechanism to ensure decent work principle

2. Forum on Decent Work with fashion show – 27 / 10 / 2011 Punchi Theater Boralla

The open forum will be organize at Punchi Theater on 27th October 2011 at 4.00 p.m to 7.00 pm with 200 participants . During this forum there will be 02 presentations by the resource persons on Living Wage and social dialogue followed by a discussion and it this will be facilitate by Kusal Perera . There will be a fashion show during the forum to expose the reality of the garment industry workers and the principle of decent work by the Janakaraliya drama group co-up with our members

The target audience will be the Elates who can influence to the decision making process of the garment industry and the government such as Diplomats Media personals Intellectuals and Business community

The participants will be provided a docket which consist of documents on statistics case studies and reports related to the garment industry and decent work principle
