The HAK-IS Confederation arranged on 5th October 2009 on the eve of IMF and World Bank meetings in Istanbul on 6-7 October. The conference is on “International Symposium on Globalised Economy from Labour Perspective: Considering IMF and WB Policies”. IMF, WB, ITUC, ETUC representatives and State Minister for Economic Development (Cevdet YILMAZ) and some academicians attended the conference.
