Export-led, domestic demand-led or balanced? Strategies for equitable and sustainable development in the post-crisis era

The aim of the International Conference on Sustainable Development Strategies is to bring together international specialists to exchange knowledge and experiences of the economies and societies with different development strategies and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of these models, so that the political actors can afterwards make firmly based decisions regarding the type of development they are aspiring and the ways to achieve it.

The Panel IV Which implications do the models of development have in regard to sustainability?, on October 7th will stress the Decent Work topic and its implications for a sound and sustainable development with the presentation of Dr. Inge Lippert of the Confederation of German Trade Unions (DGB).
