Follow the actions on Internet – send us videos and photos!
The World Day for Decent Work on October 7 is a major opportunity for the international trade union movement to mobilize in a truly global way to advance our agenda. This year’s theme is “Get the world to work”. You can find the Call to Action here:

With less than a week remaining until the Day, affiliates from all over the world have been sending in the information on their plans for the Day; however, many organizations have yet to do so.
It is now urgent that those organizations that have not done so either send the information to the ITUC, or upload it directly onto the special website at www.wddw.org.
Follow the actions on Internet – send us videos and photos!
Just as last year, it will be possible to follow the actions during the Day itself on wddw.org, from the break of dawn in the Pacific to night-fall in the Americas. We will tell you more about how to follow the actions later, closer to the Day itself. But in order for us to make it possible for people to know what is happening, we need your help! So please prepare to send us messages, videos, photos and endorsements from the events in your country as the Day unfolds. There are three ways you can send in your material:
1. For low resolution materials
Send an email to: wddw@ituc-csi.org
2. For videos and high resolution photos
Use any of the many web sites specifically designed to help you send heavy files, such as: www.mediafire.com (choose “Upload” and then “Upload without an account”) or www.wikiupload.com.
The download link you get from these sites you then send in an email to:
wddw@ituc-csi.org
3. Uploads on Internet
Upload your videos on www.youtube.com and send us the link to the video there. Photos you can upload on www.flickr.com and send us the link to your photos.
Don’t forget to follow the actions at www.wddw.org during 7 October and also to link the website to your own web site and encourage your membership to follow the actions all over the world! If you are using Twitter, you can also find the World Day for Decent Work on Twitter: http://twitter.com/WDDW
We wish you every success with the planning and look forward to working with you to make October 7 truly spectacular with your help!
