    RALLY-PROTEST OF LUGANSK REGION TRADE UNION FEDERATION

    The Lugansk Region Trade Union Federation (LRTUF) – FPU affiliate – has organized today, 7 October 2009, a rally-protest ‘For Decent Work, Decent Life!’ In its statement to TU members, workers and youth the LRTUF said: ‘Lugansk region unions are concerned about attempts to continue to resolve economic crisis problems violating workers’ constitutional rights, as it is evidence of the Bill of State Budget for 2010’. ‘Therefore, today when our state authorities demonstrate inactivity and indifference towards workers’ problems, unions are forced to pass to ‘tough’ opposition in their relationship with the state authorities’, - added LRTUF officials.
