1. For you 3 million other workers? Labour is not a commodity. FNV presents a brochure with examples of insecure employment in several sectors. Some of the flexworkers presented in the booklet will dicuss their situation. The participants will suggest solutions to their problems. Catelene Passchier, member of the Executive Board of FNV will present the trade union strategy to address insecure work.

2. Are we afraid of the emerging economies? Do the emerging economies challenge the rights of workers and do they undermine the core labour standards? Is development with Decent Work possible? Global Governance and a new economic model; the role of ILO, G20, IMF and Worldbank and the OECD Guidelines for multinationals. Speakers: Rudi Delarue, Directeur ILO Brussel, Dominique Muller, coördinator Clean Clothes Campaign en Peter Gortzak, vice-chair of FNV.

3. Decent Work without trade union rights: is that possible? Meet & Greet with the recipient of the Trade Union Rights Award. Trade unions are necessary for Decent Work. Unfortunately, in many countries trade union rights are being violated. The recipient of the Trade Union Rights Award will explain what this means in daily life. His country, once part of the former Sovjet Union, wants to be known as a modern democracy. But in stead is being critisised for violence against trade unions. An informal meeting will give ample opportunity for questions.
