World Day for Decent Work in Belgium
Belgium

The Belgian Coalition for Decent Work, including the three Belgian trade unions confederations, will mobilize for the World Day for Decent Work in Belgium the 7th of October. We will focus this year on precarious work and we precisely want to urge the ratification of the new ILO convention (nr. 189) on domestic workers. To concretise this action, we decide to urge the ratification by Belgium. But furthermore, we want to focus on India. This country has been chosen, because it’s a country with a huge amount of domestic workers. A ratification of the convention by India would be exemplary for a lot of other countries.
